Approvals and Quality

Author Services Technical prides itself on having been approved to the Ministry of Defence Quality Assurance standard, AQAP 1.

This approval helped us to gain approval to ISO 9002 in November 1992 for:

"Provision of writing and illustrating services relating to technical documentation"

This approval was changed to ISO 9001 in May 1994 for:

"Provision of design services including documentation, flow diagrams, electrical and mechanical fixtures. Provision of writing and illustrating services relating to technical documentation."

Progress is continuous and today AST are approved by LRQA to ISO 9001: 2000 for the:

"Provision of writing and illustration services relating to paper/hardcopy and interactive on-line technical documentation. Provision of design services covering documentation, flow diagrams, mechanical fixtures, electrical and mechanical composite"
